HELT Design continues our longstanding work with change makers and visionaries in our community. Rob Pressley was recently featured on WCNC Charlotte as momentum to bringing trolley service back to Belmont picks up speed.
Rob discusses the innovation involved in bringing the Belmont Trolley back to life. HELT was initially tasked with designing a trolley barn to house one trolley. That scope has expanded to house three trolley cars that have come from prior lives in Porto, Athens, and Charlotte to serve the Belmont community
A museum, and a community event space is also part of the project plan to further accelerate economic development and provide alternative transportation options in our region.
